Dear valued members,
Greetings! This is the Superbowl
weekend. I am sure many of you are very excited. I remember my first
experience of Superbowl week. It was about 10 years ago when I was
in New York as a college student. All of my friends were just
talking about Superbowl and I was completly lost about what was
happening. It took me a while to figure out that it was about
American football, not super sized bowl...
After enjoying Superbowl, our auction will
close. So, please do not forget to check it on line. Superbowl and
Koi Auction, it is such a wonderful Sunday night, isn't
it!
Well, this year, in order to provide you more Koi
with the even more strict standard of health check, we
are building three more greenhouses. The new green house
will have more capacity to hold Koi and more importantly
to conduct the strict quarantine procedure.
We
strive to be the best source of your Koi needs and look forward to
serving you again throughout this year.

Almost
all Koi we deliver to you are from Niigata in Japan.
Once we
purchase Koi there, we first move them to our head office in
Aichi prefecture of Japan. Stocking them in various sized 62
ponds from 10000 up to 81000 gallons, we carefully quarantine
them.

Mr. Takayama is
in charge of health and shipment of Koi to US. He has been
working with Koi for more than 10 years.
With all the experience,
knowledge and technology, we make sure of Koi health until we ship
them to US.

Our goal in the head office is to maintain the top condition of
Koi health. In order for that, we, as a team, work to manage
water condition, disease control and feeding management.

- New Quarantine Greenhouse
Unfortunately,
KHV was found in Japan last fall. Though we already quarantine Koi
from Japan with a strict protocol including PCR test on every
single shipment, I realized I need better and larger
facility to conduct more strict quarantine procedures to
insure beautiful and healthy Japanese Koi for you.
The first
greenhouse is almost done. We plan to build 2 more by Spring.
